About the Book

Toothens’ Tale follows Toothens, a small wingless fairy in the magical land of Tandoria. When the ancient Crystal of Light falters and darkness begins to spread, Toothens must leave the safety of her forest home and face Eldertrees, strange creatures and old magic she never believed she was worthy of.

At its heart, the story is for children who feel different – too small, too quiet or too unsure. Through trials of courage, loyalty and sacrifice, Toothens discovers that the very things she believed made her “less” are the strengths that allow her to protect the people she loves.

Key Themes & Author Quote

Toothens’ Tale was written for children who feel left out, “too small” or unsure of themselves – and for parents who want stories that help their children feel seen.

“Working with thousands of children every year, I’ve seen how stories shape the way kids see themselves. I wanted to create a world where kindness is a superpower, where friendship saves you, and where being different is the very thing that makes you strong.”

— Graeme Moore, author of Toothens’ Tale
